Stained Glass Windows

Bringing the elements, tools and artistic vision into the classroom from her professional studio, Elena works with art teachers to select a theme and overall design for a stained glass window. Under Elena's supervision, each student uses professional lead free paint to create their own design on an individual piece of stained glass. She then fires the glass in her studio and assembles the pieces to create a unique, permanent or free standing window that is unveiled in a ceremony for the school and invited parents. Born and trained as a visual artist and architect in Moscow, Elena is an artist and designer at the Khaisman Studio and a roster artist with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

20 students per class with art teacher. 10 students without art teacher
$485 per day (4 day minimum. Includes planning session)
Additional fee to build frame if needed.
Material fees assessed per residency.
