New Kid
He's just arrived in America from "Homeland," and Nick is discovering the wonders of baseball and cheeseburgers, but also the realities of prejudice against people from other countries. Unable to speak English or understand American food, music or sports, Nick has to adapt to a new language and unfamiliar culture. He encounters a conflict on his first day in school with the resident bully, Mug. But Nick isn't discouraged. He practices tolerance by helping his family adapt to American culture and gains enough confidence in his English-speaking skills to approach Mug.
