Verbal Mayhem
Utilizing hip-hop rhythms and
dynamic theatrical techniques, Mayhem Poets introduce students to
performance or slam poetry. This trio of young wordsmiths performs
original poetry that deals with various topical issues in students'
lives. This performance also aims to foster an appreciation of
classical and contemporary poetic and theatrical expressions.

With catchy rhyme-schemes and
dynamic theatrical techniques Mayhem Poets incorporate social issues
from the civil rights movement into this performance, highlighting the

the power of peace.
